During my time at Coates, a global leader in digital signage and merchandising solutions, I worked as a junior industrial designer and gained valuable insight into the signage industry. I was hired to help propose, develop, and complete an advanced project: LED display systems for drive‑thru operations and fast‑food menu boards. These designs were adopted by major brands such as McDonald’s and KFC and have since become widely used across the industry, leaving a lasting mark on how consumers interact with quick‑service restaurants.
